Being trained under Melvin Wood, Otis Woods, and Eric Jackson of New Birth Cathedral by the time he was 18 he could hear frequencies and name, them tune a room, run sound consoles such as the ATI Paragon II, Midas Legend, Midas 3K and 4K. Nicholas went on to further his education and sharpen his skills By attending American InterContinental University where obtained his degree in Media Production. Because of his knowledge of audio going into the school many of the teachers teaching the audio classes would ask him for help in teaching the classes. But Nicholas did grow to the next level by adding the component of Video to his resume.

After graduating in 2006 he was now doing camera work as well as video editing. It was during his time of growing in video that he came up with the idea of providing al forms of production starting with what he new best music. He partnered with Isaiah Pettaway III to form PowerHouse ENT. Which at the time had 3 artist but it didn’t last to long do to the overwhelming load of work being placed on both gentlemen. After taking some time and just doing subcontracted sound engineering. Nicholas decided to adopt a new concept (Stay In Your Lane). He knew he couldn’t produce, engineer, record, do live shows all by himself, so now he just does sound engineering totally. Between the time when Nicholas graduated high school in 2002 and 2006 when he graduated college he had already worked with big named artist and producers such as Jenifer Holliday, Byron Cage, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Bishop Eddie Long, Darwin Hobbs, Bishop Paul S.

Morton, Rolls Royce, Mickie Howard, Tony Terry, Avant, Keke Wyatt, and Tank just to name a few. Not only did he get the opportunity to work with some of the world’s greatest artist but he also took that time to become more knowledgeable about his craft. Nicholas attended many of trainings on some of the top of the line gear and became He became certified by Yamaha to run there digital live consoles such as the M7CL, PM5D, and the CL5, he also was trained and certified on the Allen and Heath Ilive console, and the DigiCo SD9 and SD10 just to name a few. It was during this time period Nicholas also met his current business partners Trey Milton, Fred Jacobson, and Chibale Wiggins and they decided to form what is now known as APP ( Atlanta Premier Productions).
